Production line inspector — Steuben County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Steuben County, New York. You will work in an automotive parts factory. Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. What we are looking for: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
