Bread baker — Champaign County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread baker in Champaign County, Illinois. You will work at a cake shop. Your main tasks: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Score the top of loaves before baking • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Full-time with occasional weekends.
