Wet plasterer — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Johnson County, Georgia. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel 6+ years on the tools preferred.
