Marble installer wanted in Gallatin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a marble installer in Gallatin County, Illinois. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools an advantage • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone Day to day you will cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
