Hoist operator — McCormick County

Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in McCormick County, South Carolina. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day-to-day duties: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
