The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
