Single needle operator — Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Union County, Indiana. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
