Steam press operator — Routt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Routt County, Colorado. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
