Digger driver — Cedar County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a digger driver in Cedar County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
