Precision welder wanted in Suffolk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Part-time with flexible hours.
