Hoist operator — Wabash County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Wabash County, Indiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
