Argon welder — Prince William County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Prince William County, Virginia. Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
