Vertical transportation technician — Macoupin County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Macoupin County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate You will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
