Immediate opening: plastering hand (New Hampshire)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Full-time with occasional weekends.
