Flatlock machine operator — Cherokee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
