Scaffolding supervisor • Walker County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Walker County, Alabama. The job is at a high-rise building site. You will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
