Power press operator — White County

Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in White County, Illinois. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves record output and downtime on the production sheet; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
