Abattoir worker — Orange County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Orange County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 1+ years on the tools preferred.
