Plasterer — Shasta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer in Shasta County, California. You should have: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Day-to-day duties: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Full-time with occasional weekends.
