Ladle pourer — Nelson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Nelson County, Kentucky. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
