Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing You will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
