Restoration bricklayer • Parmer County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Parmer County, Texas. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
