The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Full-time, day shift.
