Join our team: argon welder (Oyo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Ibarapa Central, Oyo State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
