Confectioner — Biriniwa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Biriniwa, Jigawa State. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
