Tile setter — Perry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile setter in Perry County, Illinois. You will work at a busy tiling site. What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone On the job you will handle: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
