Great opportunity: we are hiring a truck driver in Shelby County, Missouri. You will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
