Elevator repair technician — Matagorda County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Matagorda County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
