Press machine operator — North Yorkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in North Yorkshire, England. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
