Fabrication workshop technician — Van Wert County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Van Wert County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
