Scaffold fitter — Suffolk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The job is at a shipyard. On the job you will handle: • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
