MIG welder • Carroll County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Carroll County, Ohio. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
