On a typical shift you will fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing.
