Visual inspection operator — Saint Joseph County

Join our team: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. You will be based in an automotive parts factory. You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits The role involves record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
