Final inspection operator wanted in Seneca County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Seneca County, New York. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
