Lifting rigger — Mackinac County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Mackinac County, Michigan. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
