Blocklayer wanted in Mineral County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Mineral County, West Virginia. Day to day you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Rotating shifts.
