Foundry operative — Ika South

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ika South, Delta State. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦195,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
