Plant operator — Lewis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Lewis County, West Virginia. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport Full-time, day shift.
