Horizontal milling machine operator — Irion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Irion County, Texas. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Rotating shifts.
