Formwork joiner wanted in Newton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Newton County, Georgia. The role involves: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
