Great opportunity: lathe operator (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Cameron County, Texas. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Your main tasks: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
