Garment machinist — Monroe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Monroe County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
