Elevator technician wanted in Scott County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Scott County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
