Mechanical press operator — Quay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Quay County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
