Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Cleveland County, Arkansas. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Meals and transport allowance provided.
