Elevator service technician — Bureau County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Bureau County, Illinois. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
