Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy roofing firm. The role involves: • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Ideal candidate: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Meals and transport allowance provided.
