We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Biriniwa, Jigawa State. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Day to day you will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. ₦110,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
