Panel welder wanted in Grainger County

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Grainger County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
